Have you been on a work trip and picked up some inside tips that could be useful to other business travellers? This site is a guide to business travel written by you.
If you know a great bar, a perfect venue for a meeting, a gym that offers temporary memberships, or a relaxing place to go to take a breather, we want to hear about it.
How do I post a tip?Click on
Send a tip.
Your tips can be as long or short as you like, but please include:
- the name of the place
- what it is and and why you like it
- as much location detail as possible (website, phone no, address)
- one or more tags - this will be the way to find it on the site. Don't forget to separate tags with a comma (eg accommodation, wi-fi, restaurant)
What are tags?Tags will help other users find your tips and know what they are about. So the more accurate these are, the better. Here are some examples of our favourite tags:
accommodation, wi-fi, restaurant, park, wine, museum, bar, culture.
You can use as many as you like but always separate them with commas. Do not use the place name in here. That will appear automatically.
How do I write tips on a new place?Been there on business currently covers 14 main business destinations. If you have a tip to send about a destination not included on Been there on business, go to the
Been there general travel site, or email it to
been.there@guardian.co.uk and we'll add it to Been there for you.
Do I have to register? You will need to be
registered to post tips. If you have already registered for the Been there general travel site, the Talk section, email services or any other part of Guardian Unlimited, you can use your normal login.
Will my tip be edited?Tips may be edited for length, style and content. Inappropriate or offensive tips will be removed from the site.
I have other questions...Please send any feedback to us at
